How to join

Get the pack
Indigo is a Modrinth-format pack. Your launcher reads it, installs Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge 21.1.248, and pulls every mod at the exact version the server runs.
Install a launcher
We recommend Prism Launcher. It imports the pack in four clicks and can install Java 21 for you. The Modrinth App works too.
Prism Launcher is the launcher application. Indigo is the server and modpack.
Get whitelisted
Indigo is whitelist-only during the beta. Send the owner or an admin your exact Minecraft Java username before you try to join. You need a real Minecraft: Java Edition account.
Connect
Launch the Indigo instance, open Multiplayer → Add Server, and enter the address. No port needed. Voice chat is part of the pack and connects on its own.

Questions people ask
Is it free?
Yes. You need a normal Minecraft: Java Edition account, and that is it. No ranks, no store.
Can I play on Bedrock, console, or a phone?
No. Indigo is a modded Java Edition server, so it needs the Java game on a PC or Mac.
I have never used mods. Is this hard?
No. The launcher does the installing. The setup guide is written for a first-timer and takes about ten minutes.
Can I bring friends?
Yes. Each person needs to be whitelisted, so send their exact usernames along with yours.
Can I use shaders or Optifine-style mods?
Shaders and performance mods are fine. Give the game about 6144 MB of memory if you run shaders. Do not add or swap gameplay mods, or the server will reject the join.

Send the owner a message with the exact error text, or ask in the Discord if you have been invited.
